Stopping The Hate TV's Video Coverage Of Prop 8 Rally In Bloomington Indiana

Stopping The Hate TV's Meghan Chavalier (Founder Of StoppingTheHate.Com) and Co-Host Vicci Laine attended the Prop 8 Rally in Bloomington, Indiana May 26, 2009.

Although there was a small group of people who attended the rally it was an uplifting group of people from the LGBT Community as well as many from the heterosexual community who came out to support gay marriage after the disappointing verdict handed down by the California Supreme Court on Proposition 8.

The rally was sponsored by Marriage Equality In Indiana. The majority of passerbys were very supportive of the protest, honking their horns and waving. There were a few who drove by, yelled things and made obscene gestures, but in the hours attended at the rally those numbers could be counted on one hand.

It was a great day and the support for the community, gay marriage and equal rights far outweighed the anti-gay reactions.
